This event caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be irritant spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A young child was one of the people hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
